Deer Park - Fast Back/Forward

Today, I tried another feature of Deer Park (Deer Park = Firefox 1.1 alpha), the Fast Back / Forward (You need to set browser.sessionhistory.max_viewers to a nonzero number in about:config) Try the back and forward buttons, That's really fast !!!

In the other features of Deer Park, I also like the SVG support. Try the famous tiger ! (warning: Deer Park is very stable for an alpha release, but It crashes sometimes on SVG files)

Google Sitemap

I've just added the new Google SiteMap file to my blog. This is very easy with Movable Type. I hope Google will scan my blog more often :)

So, what happens when pinging more servers ?

My blog is still under construction and not very active, thanks to the two persons who subscribed to my feed ;) But the good side of this low traffic, is that I could mesure the impact of posting and pinging 20 servers. (see the last post) The traffic was multiplicate by 3 during 4 days and return quickly to the normal level. I think this corresponds to the time during which the link is displayed in the last updated blogs on the different pingued services. Another interesting effect, 50% of this traffic was made by search engines crawlers.
